Busking in Portland...

The Sacramento show fell through and we did not find a new venue in time to play, so instead we drove through the night to Portland to busk and earn a little gas money. Kris made some calls and found out that we could set up to play at the Saturday Market. We showed up and it was pouring rain so the crowds weren't what we hoped, but we found a spot under a little overpass next to the train stop. We didn't really get the fiscal response we were hoping for but we had lots of fun doing it.

On the bright side of missing the show in Sacramento, I did get to sit down for a burger at In-N-Out with a friend I hadn't seen in several years before we hit the road. It was really fun seeing you Jason! Also, it gave me some extra time in Portland that allowed me to stop by and see where my dear friend Ben is from and meet his family. Thank you to the Theurers for the hospitality and letting Beth and I crash your home for an hour and interrupt your Halloween themed dinner. It is obvious where Ben gets his kindness and warmth from, not to mention his sense of fun. (Loved the blue wig! I don't know many people that could pull that off so well.)

San Francisco, Blue Muse...

Wednesday, October 27th... We had the opportunity to play in San Francisco at the Blue Muse. We played along with My November Guest, who is touring with us, and local wonder, Matt Stewart. We had a wonderfully enthusiastic crowd, which made for a fun show. Thank you to all of our new friends for coming and hanging out and sharing great music with us!
